Khayal and his team (Kyle, Orkhan) earn consistent five-star praise for responsiveness, clear guidance on work options, and reliable execution on everything from emergency plumbing to custom carpentry. First-time homeowners, older-home owners, and repeat clients all report feeling heard, rarely surprised by outcomes, and confident enough to book again.
Gordmay's crew delivers polished work across renovations, structural repairs, and finishes, earning consistent five-star praise for craftsmanship and Jan's day-to-day coordination. One caller could not reach them by phone or email despite multiple attempts, a sharp contrast to the typical fast response times other reviewers report.
Minto Barrhaven draws strong praise for certain sales staff like Lisa and Harry, and customers report homes closed on schedule with warranty issues resolved promptly. Recent complaints focus on post-purchase disappointment: multiple homeowners faced electrical damage from a storm and claim the builder denied responsibility without investigation, the sales team gave conflicting instructions on lot release day, and some visitors describe the office as unwelcoming.
The sales gallery and model homes experience stands out to most visitors, who praise Caivan's staff (especially Gabe, Simon, and Fayja) for their knowledge and care in guiding first-time buyers. However, several owners report significant frustration with the completed homes: structural issues taking months to remedy, work finished weeks or months late, and inconsiderate job-site practices like early weekend work and debris left on lawns. Quality and reliability after purchase appear to be the dividing line. While recent visitors and new buyers enthuse about the design and the buying process itself, established residents voice concerns about warranty responsiveness and overall build standards. The business excels at the sales experience but struggles with post-completion accountability.
