Holland Homes delivers on major additions and renovations with owner Robert and project manager Scott driving consistent praise for design input, site responsiveness, and budget honoring across 16 five-star reviews. Strength lies in managing old-home challenges, coordinating trades, and keeping homeowners informed throughout.
Based on limited recent reviews, so treat this as low-confidence.
Both reviews praise the service, with one noting paint staff's extra attention to matching colours for an unusual project. Evidence is limited: only two reviews discuss experience, and neither mentions garage work specifically.
Most jobs run on time and finish to a high standard; repeat customers praise durable work and fast turnarounds. Named staff like Jeff and Shane show confidence and speed, completing gazebos, pergolas and sheds in hours rather than days. A small but vocal minority report problematic interactions with crew members and pushback when issues arise post-completion. The business assembles outdoor structures, furniture, and flat-pack items across Ottawa and Gatineau. Responses to negative feedback have sometimes escalated tension. Payment terms were muddled in at least one recent case, leaving a customer frustrated by shifting demands mid-job.
Long-term clients and recent kitchen/bathroom work praise detailed project management, quality finishes, and staff responsiveness-Murad and George stand out for their pace and problem-solving. However, a minority of reviewers report being quoted significantly above market, facing surprise invoices mid-project, and encountering unresponsive management when disputes arose. One reviewer cited Reddit discussion and alleged NDA pressure, raising questions about consistency between pre- and post-contract experience. Work spans major renovations (structural changes, full interior rebuilds, basement additions) and smaller finishing jobs. The business claims service across Almonte, Alta Vista, Ashton, Barrhaven, Blackburn Hamlet, Burritts Rapids, Carleton Place, and Carp. Their website lists kitchen, basement, and home addition design services; warranty and project-management models are mentioned favorably by satisfied clients.
