Every review reflects the same experience: a well-organized crew that finishes on time, communicates daily, and sweats the details. Owners praise custom framing, trim work, and cabinet quality alongside their speed and willingness to adjust plans mid-project without drama.
Staff keep job sites spotless and handle permits without fuss. The business states transparent pricing and offers labour at $45-$85 per hour; reviewers confirm no surprise costs and fair rates for the quality delivered. Their approach to matching homeowners with the right trades simplifies the hiring process itself.
All 15 reviews gave five stars. Reviewers consistently praise FJA for professionalism, reliability, and finish quality across multiple project types. Owner Anas and team members earn repeated mention for listening to clients, staying on budget, and maintaining long-term relationships with households.
Patrick and his crew respond fast and show up when promised, often earlier. Reviewers consistently praise transparent quotes, solid workmanship on foundation and garage floor jobs, and the team's willingness to explain what needs doing and catch extra issues. Most work involves foundation repair, basement waterproofing, and garage floor replacement in Ottawa homes. Patrick personally oversees projects and adapts quickly to hidden problems uncovered during work. Long-term customers return repeatedly and rarely seek other quotes.
Most jobs result in solid finished work, with crews praised for skill and professionalism; however, 22% of reviews flag serious red flags. Problems cluster around project management: communication gaps stretch timelines dramatically (weeks promised become three months), unreturned calls, and loose site discipline leave debris on properties for months. One job went unpaid and unfinished. When things go right, people book them again; when they don't, the experience turns sour fast. Decks, kitchens, bathrooms, and foundation repair tend to land well. Crew members Stephan, Alex, and Adam drew specific praise. The gap between quick, quality jobs and painful delays suggests the workload or staffing varies; front-end communication and scheduling accountability are weak points worth clarifying upfront.
